A L L Y Z A - #TechSavvyFinancialCoach

When I first moved to Canada, I quickly realized how challenging it was to stretch my savings while getting into my line of career. I found myself juggling 2-3 jobs just to make ends meet.

In my 20s, I embraced the YOLO (You Only Live Once) mentality, often maxing out my credit cards rather than planning for my future financial stability and security.

This lifestyle eventually caught up with me. By the time I hit my 30s, I was suffering the consequences of my earlier financial decisions.

I was stuck in a cycle of debt, constantly paying off debt only to find myself back into it quickly due to various circumstances.

It was a frustrating and disheartening experience that made me realize the importance of financial literacy and the need to prioritize financial health.

Hello and welcome! 👋

My name is Allyza, and I’m thrilled to have you here on The Freedom Highway.

I’ve been working as an IT professional for several years. My journey hasn’t been easy. As a new immigrant, young entrepreneur, and career woman, I’ve navigated my fair share of financial struggles. I juggled multiple jobs, dealt with debt, and experienced the stress of living paycheck to paycheck.

Recently, I’ve been leveraging my IT skillset to transition into becoming a financial coach, and I’m passionate about helping others avoid the pitfalls I experienced.

Financial stress doesn’t just impact your bank account; it affects your relationships too.

I experienced this firsthand when I couldn’t invite all my friends and family to my wedding due to a tight budget.

I also lost touch with some friends because I could no longer afford to attend gatherings.

My world got smaller, and I felt isolated.

These sacrifices taught me the crucial role that financial stability plays in maintaining healthy relationships and a fulfilling social life.

Growing up, insurance was a necessity in my culture that we often ignored or misunderstood.

I wish I had cared more to hear about the essence of insurance earlier on.

It wasn’t until I met the right people in the industry—such as my mentor and my now husband—that I truly understood its value.

Before that, I wasted money on insurance coverage that didn’t fit into my future plans and had it only for the sake of having one.

My mentor and husband opened my eyes to the added benefits of proper insurance planning, such as living benefits for myself and future generations.

This knowledge was transformative and helped me realize that insurance is not just about protection, but also about investment and security for the future.

Determined to turn my financial situation around, I immersed myself in learning proper financial planning and the secrets to building, investing, and protecting wealth.

This journey not only helped me regain control of my finances but also sparked a deep passion for financial planning.

Becoming a mom has been one of the most profound experiences of my life.

I want nothing more than to help my kids avoid the same struggles I faced.

Living paycheck to paycheck is not how I’ll be able to give them a better life or live my own life to the fullest.

I’m committed to ensuring that they have the financial stability and opportunities to thrive and succeed.

Since childhood, I’ve had a dream of helping my parents retire comfortably.

They sacrificed so much for me and my siblings, and I want to give back to them in a meaningful way.

My goal is not just to support my family but also to give back to my community.

I believe that by helping others achieve financial freedom, we can create a ripple effect of positive change.
